GOOD BYE CALIFORNIA

When long time friend, Cheryl, reached out to me to help her sell her home, it was with both excitement and sadness for me. For her, selling her long time residence in a hot zip code was exactly what she needed to do as she neared retirement and set her sights on the state of Texas! Because she had time on her side, we were able to make a few improvements to her existing home and ready it for market. Some simple improvements that didn’t cost much were easily achieved as she submitted to the process of the journey. For starters, knowing she was ultimately going to move to another state, virtually starting over, she agreed to move her personal belongings out of the home and pack only what she was going to take. This made way for an easy improvement of removing all the worn carpet throughout the home and she had engineered hardwood installed. It was just the improvement needed to set the stage for, well, staging! With the staging in place, professional photos were taken for marketing the property [check out the video] and soon she was being courted by many a buyer wanting to purchase this 95124 gem! Now that she’s moved to Texas, we miss her dearly. Thank God for FB, cell phones and air travel! Cheryl, looking forward to my visit and tour of Magnolia Farms. See you soon, pardner!
